Small Layouts

Small layouts have a footprint of less than 16 square feet. All these layouts fit into this footprint. It is worthwhile understanding that 16 square feet can mean:

  • 8 x 2 feet,
  • 16 x 1 feet,
  • 32 feet x 6 inches, and
  • so on.

    1. Thanks Tom;
      I’ve been publishing these for over ten years now and had several of them built by modellers all over the world since. I just love the small layout concept, especially the Industrial Switching Layout. Yours is outstanding by the way – hence the feature on the site today.
      Thanks for dropping by the Andrew’s Trains site.
